Values & Origin

Founded in the UK, DWLR began by working with local artisans on bespoke furniture projects for private homes, drafting designs directly or developing pieces based on client specifications. This early experience shaped our understanding of proportion, material selection, and the realities of furniture manufacture.

Today, DWLR supplies made-to-order furniture for residential and commercial clients across the UK, offering a combination of selected furniture designs, custom-made options, and fully bespoke services. Our role is to take responsibility for specification, production, and delivery - ensuring every piece is produced to agreed standards and suited to its intended use.

Made-to-Order Furniture

DWLR works with established manufacturing partners whose capabilities meet our standards for construction quality, finish, and suitability for everyday residential and commercial use. All pieces presented on our website are assessed, specified, and approved by our team, with materials and detailing defined to ensure consistency across every order.

Each piece is produced to order and supplied through DWLR. Depending on the design, selected upholstery, colour, or finish options may be available beyond those listed online. All custom requests are reviewed for feasibility and confirmed prior to production.

Custom-Made Options

For clients requiring additional flexibility, DWLR offers custom-made options based on selected designs. This service allows for light modifications - such as alternative fabrics, colours, or finishes - while retaining the original design and construction.

Custom-made furniture is suited to projects where greater visual alignment is required without the need for a fully bespoke design process.

Bespoke Furniture

For fully bespoke projects, DWLR leads the design and production process, working with furniture designers within our studio network to develop original pieces tailored to individual requirements.

Each bespoke project begins with a client brief and progresses through concept development, design refinement, material selection, and manufacture. DWLR oversees every stage of the process, ensuring clarity, consistency, and quality from initial idea through to delivery and, where required, installation.

Commercial & Contract Projects

DWLR works with interior designers, architects, and property developers to supply furniture for hospitality, residential developments, and other contract environments.

Our services may include trade pricing, specification support, priority production, and coordinated delivery. Project requirements are defined in advance to support consistency, programme alignment, and reliable outcomes at scale.

Quality & Manufacture

All DWLR furniture is produced to order and monitored throughout the manufacturing process prior to dispatch. Depending on the product and specification, furniture may be manufactured in the UK or by trusted production partners overseas.
